The More Project Making a Difference
MonaVie has experienced great success in the few years since it first started creating and distributing the nutritious and antioxidant rich drink blends featuring the acai berry. It was that fast and overwhelming success that allowed the company founders to pursue another goal which was to share the success with other people.
Deciding which charitable organization didn’t take long. As the acai berry came from the country of Brazil, and it is a major part of the company’s success, MonaVie wanted to share their wealth with the people of Brazil. And as more than one fifth of the population lives in extreme poverty, their efforts would definitely be needed.
They partnered up with Sergio Ponce who was already helping poor families near Rio, and now MonaVie and its independent distributors are supporters of the MORE Project and pay all of the administrative costs of the project and its programs. This allows all other donations to be put directly into the project and used to help the people.
The MonaVie MORE Project is dedicated to helping enrich and lift up the poor people of Brazil. They do this through a variety of programs, each program focused on a specific need of the population. Two of the MORE Project programs are called Mom’s House and The Father House Project.
